The quality of the bricks is essential. Under the ground, bricks that are impermeable to wastewater are needed. They must withstand the toughest conditions, as wastewater channels and shafts must endure ground frost, chemicals, pressure from water and soil, and biological infestations.
Hagemeister channel bricks meet these requirements exceptionally well. Made from the finest clays, they are fired at approximately 1200 °C using modern production processes to achieve a dense ceramic structure. This ensures they absorb almost no liquids and safely channel wastewater to treatment facilities.
