Front face configuration

Front face configuration Front face configuration (FFC) only uses the front faces of the clinker bricks. This gives the façade a calmer and more uniform appearance than that of mixed face configuration (MFC).

Mixed face configuration

Mixed face configuration Mixed face configuration (MFC) uses both the front and reverse faces of the clinker bricks. This gives the façade a more vibrant appearance than when only the front faces are used. Given that mixed face configuration allows two brick slips to be obtained from one clinker brick, mixed face configuration is more attractive in terms of pricing.
